It is everyone’s responsibility to protect children by reporting suspected child abuse or neglect. Reporting your concerns to the appropriate people is the first step in getting help for abused children and their families.

To report suspected child abuse or neglect, contact

Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS)

Kansas Protection Report Center

1-800-922-5330

(24 hrs / 7 days/week)

In an emergency or time-senstive situation, contact your local law enforcement office, call 911.

Please provide as much information as possible, including the child’s name, address, age, nature of the concern, current location, alleged perpetrator (if known) and any other details you believe to be important. Reports to SRS may be made anonymously. SRS is required, however, to keep the identity of the reporter confidential. If a reporter provides his/her name and phone number, this may be helpful for SRS to obtain additional information about the report.
