Join our Board of Directors

The Children’s Advocacy Centers of Kansas (CACKS) Board of Directors plays a vital role in shaping the vision and direction of our organization. Our Board provides leadership and guidance by setting mission-driven goals, establishing strategic priorities, ensuring strong financial stewardship, and championing the sustainability of our work across the state.

Together, we strive to ensure that every child in Kansas who has experienced abuse or trauma has access to safety, healing, and hope.

We are currently growing our Board of Directors and are seeking passionate, community-minded leaders who are ready to make a lasting impact for children and families in Kansas. If you’re ready to lend your voice, expertise, and heart to this mission, we invite you to fill out our Board Interest Form below and learn more about how you can make a difference.

Associate Committee

The primary role of the Associate Committee is to assist with awareness and fundraising efforts, including the planning and execution of our annual CACKS fundraising event.

If you're eager to grow your leadership skills, connect with like-minded changemakers, and support children and families across Kansas, this is your opportunity to get involved!

Mercedes Lubbers

"I joined the Associate Committee for CACKS to better advocate and initiate state change for children like my step-son who has been abused by his step-father and whose experience has been diminished by the system and current Kansas statutes. I want to spread awareness and make Kansas a safer place for all children to be protected, believed, and given justice."
