The tools and approaches we cover are:
- The FAN (facilitated attuned interaction, which has been shown to increase staff’s reflective capacity and buffer burnout. FAN provides a framework to attune to what you need and build resilience for yourself, and in turn with your clients.
- The HOPE framework, which moves us out of a deficit framework into a positive framework as a way to think about our policies, programs, and practices. So often, we are focused on deficits like adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and measuring the number of bad things that happened to people. The framework of HOPE asks us to consider what if we flipped it around? What if we stacked our work and resources in a different way?
